Service Philosophy

Fitzpatrick Law believes that every client, every representation, is a privilege. Good lawyers listen to their clients and pay attention to budgetary constraints.  We think "smart business” and “environmental compliance” are not mutually exclusive terms, and that regulatory and municipal officials and staff should be treated with professionalism and respect – even when you’re playing hardball.  The Fitzpatrick firm holds that the practice of law, although surely a business, should be pursued as an Honorable Profession – with integrity, a sense of duty, and fierce pursuit of our clients' cause.

Experience

Paul Fitzpatrick graduated from the University of Michigan (with Distinction) with a degree in Philosophy and Classical Greek Language & Literature, and from the University of Michigan Law School. He clerked for the Florida Supreme Court. After that, he worked as Special Environmental Counsel at seven-hundred-lawyer LeBoeuf, Lamb in New York, and practiced over ten years at Michigan-based Dickinson Wright before establishing Fitzpatrick Law, pllc. While at Dickinson, he served as Chair of the Environmental Section of the U.S. Law Firm Group, a consortium of major law firms with offices in over 75 cities worldwide.
