Providing Environmental Support to Other Law Firms:

Fitzpatrick Law occasionally serves as environmental counsel on matters originated by other law firms that do not have an environmental lawyer on staff.  The originating firm typically retains responsibility for case management, with the Fitzpatrick firm reporting to and through the originating firm.

In-house/Outside Environmental Counsel Services

Paul Fitzpatrick is available  to serve as in-house environmental counsel -- for specified periods and identified projects --  for corporations that do not have the required expertise on staff.  Fitzpatrick has entered into such arrangements with corporations of various sizes while retaining his status as an attorney in an outside law firm. In one instance, he  served as the in-house environmental lawyer for a Fortune 50 company with manufacturing  facilities in the United States, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.  He met with the company’s Environmental, Health & Safety staff on a regular basis, presented at in-house training sessions,  trimmed legal costs,  and helped assisted in-house staff to identify upcoming capital expenditures, finalize budgets, set reserves, and implement operational cost reduction programs.
